My first experience in photography was in college, taking black & white photos of laboratory specimens through microscopes. My subject matter has changed, but my appreciation for the tones and textures remains the same.
I am totally into wildlife and nature. Have been since I was a little kid. I am definitely not a nature photographer, but every now and then I have the camera with me at the right time.
My personal favorite photos of Leo and Aaron. Notice that there are considerably fewer photos as they've gotten older. Through the years, in addition to getting older, they've gotten less cute, less cooperative, and less available.
Anyone who knows my kids also knows that they live for soccer. They've both been playing since before kindergarten, and both have had the good fortune to play at fairly high levels. And I have had the good fortune of being able to document their soccer careers.
I rarely go anywhere without a camera, but I'm not completely compulsive about picture taking. Here's some stuff from some of the places I've been over the last 20 years.
